Sounds like a return to the good old days when turned based war games like this one where all the range and there was some good one and some bad, i have a look at this one myself and give it a true

Turn based strategy game set in WWII in which you can choose to be either the Axis or the Allies. You get to research new things and hire historical military figures to fight for you. It's not a bad game, and i'm sure it will have it's niche market to fill, but personally I think there's better 'war themed' DS games out there.
