this games keep freezing when i press A

I have downloaded CHEAT.DAT and USRCHEAT.DAT but alas, the game still has no cheat option. I am using an R4 and desperately wish to play this game. i was wondering if someone could post a patched game because im new to these things and dont know what the codes at the very top meantor how to patch a file, thanks.
