yea for work the game must choice all box of the sound plugin pete's and the game work :)
this is one of the first games we played with our family when we first buy our ps one console. its a very friendly adventure racing game! its the best!
all those who have problems with the adventure mode, check if your sound plugin is the one who is default installed when you download epsxe, something like epsxe spu? check the box and there it can continue now to adventure mode. i just tried it now and it works! :)
