How to use our Sony PlayStation (PSX) ROMs

The Sony Playstation, commonly referred to as the PSX, was released in 1994 and was Sony's first foray into the video game console market. The console was designed to compete with the Nintendo 64 and the Sega Saturn, both of which were popular at the time.

The PSX featured a custom 33.9 MHz RISC processor and GPU that allowed for higher resolutions and more colorful graphics than its competitors. The console also featured a CD-ROM drive, which allowed for larger games and more complex soundtracks than previous consoles.

One of the key factors that helped the PSX gain popularity was its more mature library of games. The console saw a number of critically acclaimed and popular games, including Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, and Resident Evil. The PSX also saw a number of popular sports games, including the FIFA and NBA Live series.

Sony gave the PSX a marketing campaign which positioned it as a more mature and sophisticated console than its competitors. This campaign helped to establish the PSX as a serious contender in the video game console market and helped to set it apart from its competitors.

To play PSX ISOs on your PC, you will need a PSX emulator. The most popular PSX emulators are ePSXe and RetroArch. Once you have downloaded an emulator, you can easily download any of our PSX ROMs and start playing.
