Best "kart/racing" game of its kind for the "Clinton" generation. Great game in both gameplay and fluid animation as well as many little hidden surprises in this title. Secret tracks/vehicles/mini-games. Brings back many memories. This game is not for everyone as the steering gets a little more difficult as you progress in unlocking the quicker and more advanced vehicles but the overall attitude and brightly colored motifs of the game can only bring a smile as well as a breath of fresh air compared to other titles (if your in a decent mood of course).
on the images i see i think thats where poly got high speed ring from(the layout)

I read that this game is POLY's first racing game they made. After the game hit the shelfs of every video game stores. The game developer change their name to Polyphony Digital which they later made the Gran turismo franchise
