cool boarders 3 was an incredible,arcade style snow boarding game and one of the best of its era,from what remember,all of the gaming magazines [in particular,OPM] as well as the UKs legendary teletext gaming magazine; digitiser rated it highly and it fairly earned its place in the 'platinum' series.
however....
-the handling coud have been better,it was good but not fluid and responsive enough.
the graphics were decent,especialy for a playstation game.
-not enough improvements from the previous CB to really have been worth the full UK price from back then [it came as part of a package with mine].
snowboarding at that time had not saturated the gaming market and this CB had a hook and addiction drive that definitely made it a must have.

Loved it as a kid, knew every turn, every board's weaknesses and strenghs and everything. Good snowboard game if you're into that stuff :P
The PSX equivalent to games like 1080 Snowboarding or SSX.
