Simplified version of Tetris with chibi Street Fighter & Dark Stalker, 13 total characters including hidden, animations.
Basically, you match same color gems into various rectangular shapes until you get a breaker gem, a glowy circle. The bigger the gem, the more black boxes you drop on your opponent. Black boxes count down from 5 before they take on the shape of the actual color gem. Which will explain the counter pattern when you select a character. It is also possible to counter, or lower the incoming number of, black boxes by breaking a big ass gem of your own.
